Jackson had taken a shower and I had put his Pajamas on after I lotioned him up because of his dry skin and I was telling him it is very important to keep his skin "moisturized." I left the room and checked on him about 10 minutes later because he was being awfully quiet. Well he was keeping himself moisturized alright, as well as his pajamas. I couldn't help but laugh and take a picture. Especially when I said, Jackson what are you doing? and he replied,"I am moisturizing mommy."

Our Soldier!
It's a BOY!

We have a little boy on the way! He was a very shy little guy he covered up his face most of the ultrasound, but eventually we got a sneak peek. You could definatly tell he was a boy! No doubt about it. He was quite a mover and enjoyed his hands around his face. Now we got to think of some names... The doctor said everything looked great and we are thrilled that Jackson is going to have a little brother.
Will it be a boy or will it be a girl???
In a few hours, Jackson,Alexis,Tyler and I are going to get our first real peek at the baby. I am extremly nervous and anxious. The health of the baby is my number one concern but I am confident that everything will be ok. I will be posting again in a few hours to let everyone know how it went!!

Saying goodbye to Daddy again...
As most of you know Devin left yesterday for the Warrior Transition Course in New Mexico. Well first he flew to Dallas and then to St. Louis, Missouri. He is in St. Louis right now getting back into the system to become Active Duty in the Army. He will eventually go to New Mexico for 4 weeks of training to become, "Army Strong" like he says to Jackson. Jackson had a very hard time saying goodbye. He doesn't get the concept of time yet but he understands going away for awhile. We dropped Devin off at 5:00am and said our goodbyes, I held it together until Devin started crying with Jackson. It really makes you wonder if it is worth it. I am so grateful to have a husband that wants to do everything in his power to take care of his family, even sacrificing his time away to make us in a better position when our little bean comes this Spring. I just hope he knows how much I appreciate him and how grateful we our to have him in our life.
Jackson's 1st Photo Shoot!

Last Monday, I decided it was about time to get Jackson's Pictures taken. I was very nervous because everyone that knows Jackson knows he has a problem staying in one spot long enough to take a picture. You are lucky if he is even looking at the camera. To my surprise, Jackson did such a great job and the pictures turned out perfect!
